Senior Software Automation Engineer in Quality

Pogos, a leading provider of on-demand software solutions, is looking for a Senior Software Automation Engineer in Quality to join our vibrant Engineering team working on an exciting project within the Global Media Network. At Pogos, we specialize in delivering secure, scalable, and reliable software solutions tailored to our clients' needs. 

A Software Development Engineer in Quality understands the Software Development  Lifecycle (SDLC), Software Testing Lifecycle (STLC), and fundamental testing processes. The engineer sincerely and consistently supports the defined  Quality Assurance processes across multiple engagements. Preferably skilled in BDD, TDD, and CodeceptJS.


  • Developing new test cases and maintaining existing ones to make sure the test  suites are updated with the latest changes in each product 
  • Automating execution of test cases to avoid repetitive manual QA work after each  release 
  • Executing defined and exploratory test cases to uncover bugs and regression issues
  • Documenting the results of failed tests cases and providing evidence by way of screenshots/recorded videos and defect reports 
  • Guiding technical discussions with both technical and non-technical audiences 
  • Automating test suites using BDD, TDD, CodeceptJS

Requirements


  • 5+ years hands-on experience in Quality Assurance
  • Experience in creating and executing test cases
  • Understanding of SDLC / STLC 
  • Understanding of BDD, TDD 
  • Knowledge of manual testing methodologies
  • Strong knowledge of automation strategies for functional, regression, and performance testing, minimizing manual efforts.
  • Proficiency in programming languages used for test automation ( JS, CodeceptJS ) 
  • Experience with API automation 
  • Good communication and collaboration skills
  • Good English skills
